The Real Journey
(is not this ideal)
More than one million new US startups were launched in 2021.
That does not mean that there are one million genius business leaders out there.
It means a million (mostly) virgin CEOs taking their own path.
The great resignation is only the beginning.
And it’s a hard road.
Many don't know what they don't know and are building the plane as they fly it.
Founders must learn a whole set of new skills throughout the life of a startup. Despite what you’ve read on LinkedIn bios, there is simply no way to be good at everything.
Raising startup capital, building a management team, developing competitive products,
starting a marketing program, fearly customers.
The list is long.
So, obviously, they seek outside help.
Yet all they find are platitudes, hacks, bad advice, get rich quick schemes and sales pitches.
